As part of The McDonald’s Corporation’s plan to remodel stores for a more digital experience, the Crossville location on the corner of Main Street and Bennett Way will be demolished in the spring of 2026, with the new store expected to take approximately 180 days to build.

Representatives of Funderburk Family McDonald’s have confirmed that employees have been offered the option to work at either the Peavine or Cookeville location during the rebuild. The new store is expected to have expanded kiosks for ordering and more parking for DoorDash/Uber drivers
