CROSSVILLE MAN TELLS COUNTY POLICE THIS WHEN ASKED WHAT DRUGS HE INGESTED

On April 16, 2024 a County officer was dispatched to Lantana Road and Shadberry Road. The caller stated a male wearing a green shirt, jeans, and black hat was stumbling in the middle of the road. The officer made contact with Jacob Webb, who matched the description, in front of a residence on Taylor’s Chapel Road. The officer observed he was very unsteady standing and had slurred speech and  smelled the odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from his person.

After being placed in the back seat of the officer’s patrol car he became agitated followed by drowsiness. When asked if he took any drugs, he stated “I took everything”.

Jacob was transported to Cumberland County intake due to him being a danger to himself.
