On 09-01-2024 at approximately 9:00 a.m. Crossville Police received a report of a stolen Blue Ford F- 150. a City Officer was at Sligo Street, Crossville TN 38572 on an unrelated matter at approximately 10:40 a.m. the same day when the stolen vehicle pulled into the driveway of the residence. The Officer observed the vehicle and the driver and identified him as William Whited (09-27-1982).

The owner was notified that his vehicle had been recovered at which time he retrieved his vehicle on scene and Mr. Whited was taken into custody and transported to the Cumberland County Justice Center where he was charged with possession of a stolen vehicle and driving under the influence.
