On September 18, 2023 City Officers responded to the area of West Ave. for a report of a male that was standing in the middle of the road at five points intersection and was trying to punch and hit vehicles and had broken the front windshield of a vehicle and hit another vehicle with a chain causing damages.

Upon arrival to the area contact was made by two officers. The first officer was attempting to grab the man identified as Mr. Brandon Boswell by the hands and Mr. Boswell was backing up and pulling his hands from the officer. The second officer then came in from behind Mr. Boswell and grabbed him by the arms and assisted him to the ground to keep him from being close to vehicles and the roadway. Mr. Boswell was immediately placed under arrest and was transported to the Justice Center for booking. Mr. Boswell was charged with Vandalism and resisting arrest.
