CROSSVILLE MAN KILLED BY FALLING LIMB IN LOGGING ACCIDENT

A logger from Crossville died in an accident Monday in Coffee County. According to sources, 52-year-old Jeff Lawson was working on Panhandle Road near Manchester around 1 PM when he was killed while his crew was cutting down a tree. According to the Coffee County Sheriff’s Dept., Lawson was hit in the head by a falling limb. Funeral arrangements will be forthcoming.
