Area media is reporting that Johnny Samuel Moore of Crossville was the driver of a Dodge Ram pickup that crashed into a tractor-trailer rig early Tuesday morning on Highway 70 near the Cumberland-White County line.  Moore died later as a result of injuries in the wreck.  A passenger in Moores truck, Connie Gail Batey, is being treated for serious injuries at an area trauma center. It is not believed that the driver of the big rig, William Knoer, was seriously injured.  THP is still investigating the cause.
