CROSSVILLE MAN BREAKS UP DOG FIGHT – OWNER PUTS HIM IN HOSPITAL WITH GOLF CLUB

On 8/20/2024 a Cumberland County Sheriff’s Deputy was dispatched to the area of White Hall Road for a fight between multiple people with golf clubs in the street. Just prior to his arrival, he was advised that EMS was being dispatched to White Hall for a possible broken arm due to this fight, and that some of the subjects had left the scene.

On scene at White Hall Rd., he was met in the driveway by two of the subjects, one of who was holding his left wrist. The Deputy observed a red mark on the wrist consistent with the shaft of a golf club and his knuckles were bleeding. The subject said that his dogs and the neighbors’ dogs had started fighting in the street and he and his friend went outside to stop the dogs; however, upon hearing the dog fight, Travis Sadula and a second male came from across the street with golf clubs to where the dogs were fighting.

The hurt subject told the Deputy he, the subject, was the owner of some of the dogs and thought Travis and the other male were going to seriously hurt his dogs and a verbal argument ensued. Then instead of hitting the dogs, Travis and the other male started hitting him and his friend with the golf clubs.

Another Deputy arrived on scene to assist. The hurt subject then said that Travis got into his girlfriend’s vehicle and left the scene. The Deputy then left the scene and responded to Travis’ residence and made contact with only him and transported him to intake for booking.

The hurt subject was treated By EMS and advised to go to the hospital for x-rays due to his wrist possibly being broken. No dogs were injured by either each other or the subjects.
