CROSSVILLE POLICE REPORT:

On February 28, 2022 City units were dispatched in the area of West Ave and Cumberland Auto Parts in reference to a bald male subject walking in traffic and spitting on cars. Upon my arrival, I observed the male subject who I identified as Mr. Joshua Hayes due to prior knowledge. He was walking in the Northbound lane of West Ave yelling at cars. The vehicles had to come out of the lane of travel and go into the continuous turn lane to keep from hitting Mr. Hayes. Mr. Hayes stated that he was walking in the middle of the road to get traffic to slow down. I placed Mr. Hayes under arrest for disorderly conduct and transported him to intake for booking.
