Longtime Crossville Businessman Ed Bowman was killed Tuesday in a tragic accident at Cumberland Mountain State Park Campground. According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Mr. Bowman was working on an RV when he was struck by a vehicle driven by Carylon S. Jones of Wartburg, TN. The THP says Jones was attempting to park her vehicle when her pant leg got tangled and she accidentally hit the gas, jumped the curb, and hit Mr. Bowman. The THP says no charges have been filed in the accident at this time.  Mr. Bowman owned Bowman’s RV’s on West Avenue in Crossville.
