In an unprecedented limited general election that saw only two contested county-wide races out of eight offices, voters chose Casey Cox over Dean Farley as the next Cumberland County Sheriff. Incumbent County Mayor Kenny Carey, Jr. retained his seat defeating Thom Hassler. The other county offices of Sessions Judge, County Clerk, Circuit Court Clerk, Trustee and Road Superintendent and Register of Deeds had no challengers in the General Election.
