CLOWN THREATENS TENNESSEE SCHOOL, LOCK DOWN ORDERED BY OFFICIALS

Antioch High School has been placed on lock out following a threat involving a clown Wednesday morning according to Metro Police dispatch.

School will continue as normal but exterior doors have been locked and limited traffic is being allowed in and out of the school according to Metro Schools, which issued a statement on Twitter. The principal is communicating directly with families.

Metro School spokeswoman Ameerah Palacios says both Antioch High School and Glencliff High School are affected during the lock out today. She stated a concerning social media post was brought to the attention of Metro Schools security and “out of an abundance of caution,” the schools were placed on lock out.

The schools will have increased security and Metro Nashville Police are investigating the situation. During the lock out, Palacios says any students in portable classes are moved inside and exterior doors are locked with limited traffic in and out of the schools.
