Area media reports this morning that Director of Schools, Janet Graham, has issued a press release this morning warning of an Active Clown Threat. Director Graham said that the Cumberland County School system discovered early this morning a threat concerning clowns similar to those occurring in other school districts in Tennessee. The threat is being investigated aggressively and Cumberland County High School will be placed on soft lockdown today. Additional security will be at CCHS with additional patrol in all schools today. All principals have been notified to arrive early and have a heightened awareness of who is coming and going in their buildings as the investigation continues.
