The city of Crossville will offer storm brush collection following the severe ice storm that struck the area Feb. 21.
Brush must not be larger than 4 inches in diameter and no longer than six feet. The brush pile must be within 5 feet of the curb and not placed against trees, fences, utility poles or other stationary objects. Piles must be no larger than 4 feet high, 4 feet wide and 8 feet long.
Brush needs to be at the curb by 7 a.m. on the Monday of the scheduled pick-up week. Crews will not be able to make return trips during the week when a particular area has already been services.
The following schedule will be used:
•Monday trash pickup brush collection will be March 2-6
•Tuesday trash pickup brush collection will be March 9-13
•Wednesday trash pickup brush collection will be March 16-20
•Thursday or Friday trash pickup brush collection will be March 23-27.
The schedule may be updated if necessary based on the amount of brush collected and the amount of time it takes to collect it.
