Crossville City Manager Greg Wood has submitted his resignation amid the current investigation of the closing of the Village Inn on July 27th.  According to City Attorney Will Ridley, the closing of the Inn and evacuation order of its tenants violated legal protocol.  City Council will meet in a special called session next Tuesday to discuss Woods’s resignation and the process of taking applications for a new City Manager.
