In a published story on social media this afternoon, Crossville City Councilman Danny Wyatt has called for the suspension of Crossville City Manager David Rutherford. Councilman Wyatt has asked for a special called meeting Friday afternoon at 3 according to the report.  There is no clear reason for Wyatt wanting Rutherford’s removal in the story other than Wyatt said the city manager has done things he (Wyatt) doesn’t agree with.  Councilman Pete Souza was quoted as saying it’s a “political coup”.  Read the full story by clicking here
