The Crossville City Council will meet in a special called session this morning at 11:30 in Conference Room 317 at City Hall to oversee the online bidding for property that is being considered for the proposed new Recreational Center. The Powell Auction online auction closes at noon central time today.  The city manager has been given a top bid to offer by the Council for the 24 acres on Webb Avenue. However, should the Council see fit to up the bid at the last minutes of the auction they must convene and approve a higher cap. The Webb Avenue property is favored for the Recreational Center because it’s in town and near Main Street. Below is the property up for auction.
