An elderly Cumberland County man who seemed to get himself lost Wednesday afternoon was located safely just a few hours later. Sources say the man, who reportedly suffers from Alzheimer’s, became disoriented and somehow got lost in the vicinity of Shorty Barnes Rd off Peavine Rd around 2 PM. County authorities along with fire and rescue crews began to scout the area and also called in a Tennessee Highway Patrol chopper to aid in the hunt. The man was found unharmed just a few hours later. His name and condition was withheld.
