ROANE COUNTY – A child was hit and killed by a vehicle Friday afternoon after they got off a school bus in Roane County.

The incident happened at 3:45 p.m. at the intersection of Old Harriman Highway and Blair Road, according to dispatch.

THP said the school bus was not hit. Officials said the investigation is ongoing and no further information will be released at this time.
