CCHS HALL OF FAME INDUCTEE JANE WAY CRITICALLY INJURED IN CAR ACCIDENT
Cumberland County High School Hall of Fame inductee Jane Way was critically injured in a car accident recently. She was taken to a Nashville hospital for treatment including surgery. Ms. Way suffered many broken bones and is still in the hospital for the past two weeks. She posted on Facebook:
- Two weeks ago today I was in a horrific auto accident. Today is the first day I have felt like reaching out to anyone. I have lots of broken bones but not a broken spirit. Surrounded by family and a wonderful medical care team I will beat this in time. God is so good to me and I thank each of you for calls, cards, flowers and most of all your prayers. Kim has tried to reach out with updates and for now that works. Happy to be alive!
Ms Way served as the executive secretary at CCHS for more than 47 years, giving an enormous amount of her adult life to the betterment of Cumberland County High School.
