CAR-JACKER DRAGS OWNER ALONG SIDE CAR THEN PULLS OUT KNIFE
Starting your car to let it warm up can be risky business as one Crossville resident found out – the hard way. A resident of an apartment on Village Lane, just off Genesis road, went out to start his car and let it warm up before he left for work. When he came back out, there was a man sitting in the car behind the wheel. The resident tried to get the suspect out of his car going as far as putting him in a headlock. That’s when things got scary. The would be car-jacker then took off – dragging the owner of the car across the front yard. The suspect stopped the car and pulled a knife on the victim. The resident offered to pay the suspect $10.00…it worked. The suspect took the money and ran. He was last seen heading toward Genesis Road. He’s still on the loose.
