130913155349-jacob-allen-bennett-story-topThat is the burning question in the minds of defense attorney’s for Jacob Bennett accused of killing four people on Renegade Mountain in 2013.   The attorney’s think not and will be asking for a change of venue in February of next year.  Jury selection has been slated for July 7, 2015.    Both Bennett and Brittany Yvonne Moser are accused of the murders of 22-year-old Rikki  Jacobsen, 17-year-old Dominic Davis, 17-year-old Steven Presley and 16-year-old John Lajeunesse as they sat in a car off Renegade Parkway leading up the Mountain.  Defense attorney’s feel that there has been too much adverse publicity about the case to have the trial held in Cumberland County.  On his first appearance before  a judge, Bennett said he didn’t want an attorney and that he was “guilty”.  However, the judge advised Bennett he needed to have an attorney appointed to him before he could enter a plea.
