BREAKING: RESIDENTS RETURN TO VILLAGE INN ONE DAY AFTER CONDEMNATION

One day after the City of Crossville closed down the Village Inn on North main, residents today are told they can return to their living units. Village Inn landlord Steve Threet told CNF today that City Manager Greg Wood called him to say there had been a procedural error in the condemnation of the Village Inn on Wednesday and that VEC was on its way to restore electricity to the Village Inn and the residents could move back in.  More than 100 people were displaced yesterday when City of Codes Department stated they had found many safety violations at the Village Inn and gave the residents twelve hours to vacate the Inn.
