Both Stone Memorial High and Stone Elementary Schools were placed on soft lockdowns this morning for about 3o minutes. Officially, Chief Brooks told CNF it was due to an incident at the Pilot Travel Center on Genesis Road.  There was a female who passed a note that said says she was being held hostage at gunpoint and the schools were placed on soft lock down only as a precaution.
