BOND REDUCED BY $450,000 FOR ACCUSED ‘CONCERT’ CRIMINAL HOMICIDE SUSPECT

HUNTSVILLE (WATE) – A man charged with hurting at least three people and killing one person after he drove through a crowd at a Trace Adkins Concerts in Huntsville was in court Wednesday.

Bond for Billy Jason Carson of Cleveland was reduced from $500,000 to $50,000. Carson was fitted with an electronic monitor.

A judge ruled that Carson is not allowed to visit Scott County, leave the state or possess a firearm. He’s also not allowed to have contact with the victim’s family.

The court is waiting on toxicology reports for Carson. His next preliminary hearing was set for August 6 at 10:00 a.m.
