BOMB THREAT AT NATIONAL GUARD ARMORY IN TALLAHASSEE FL

Tallahassee Police are responding to a bomb threat at the National Guard Armory on Easterwood Drive and Capital Circle.

Earlier this morning a National Guard spokesperson, Lt. Justin Philips, said the Tallahassee Police Department arrested a man near the area regarding the incident. Around 12:00 p.m. they re-released a statement saying no one was arrested regarding the bomb threat. Tallahassee Police confirmed that no one has been arrested.

Phillips says the armory was evacuated after TPD alerted them of a bomb threat. TPD is currently searching to see if the bomb threat is viable.

Three area schools, Lincoln High School, Apalachee Elementary School and Adult & Community Education (ACE) are under heightened security according to Leon County Schools.
