A body of a male was found this afternoon at Burgess Falls State Park between Cookeville and Sparta.

Authorities have not determined the cause of death or identified the man.

An investigation in ongoing with the sheriff’s office and the District Attorney.

Due to the investigation, the park has been closed, but officials said it would likely reopen Monday.
