BIG RIG DRIVER TAKES AIM WITH LOADED CROSSBOW IN ROAD RAGE INCIDENT, CHARGED

A road rage incident involving a weapon was reported Sunday in Crossville at the Pilot Travel Plaza on Genesis road. According to reports, the victim was attempting to back into a parking space when a blue Peterbilt rig cut them off. An argument ensued and that’s when the driver of the big rig climbed into his truck, brought out a loaded crossbow and pointed it at the two occupants in the victims’ vehicle in a threatening manner. Police were called and located 40-year-old Bryan Thomas Bruce of Griffin, Georgia, at the pumps. Bruce was charged with two counts of aggravated assault after police found the crossbow in the seat of his truck.
