Well here’s something you don’t see everyday.  A black bear, likely the same one spotted at the Crossville City Cemetery Wednesday, made its way to the Cumberland County Courthouse lawn around 10pm Wednesday night. TWRA was called to the scene and kept an eye on the bear for a while until it disappeared into the woods.    Officers said they had no reports of the animal causing damage anywhere in the area and were not there to attempt capturing the bear – only to direct it back to the woods hoping it would find its way home.  Bryan Haney was parked on the south side of the Courthouse lawn and was able to get some video.  It was dark and the video is a little blurry but we’ve enhanced it as much a possible to get a better look at the roaming bear.
