Last night during the storms Algood Officers Johnny Cyrus and Roy Phipps responded to a double stabbing at Garden Grove Apts. Detective Justin Medlin was called in to investigate and subsequently obtained warrants on Derrick Justin Choate. Choate was able to escape and is currently on the run.
