ACCOUNT SET UP FOR FAMILY OF CHILD WHO PERISHED IN HOUSE FIRE

Tragedy struck this morning as a seven-year-old Crossville girl perished in a house fire on Highway 70 East.  Emergency personnel were called to the residence located about four miles from Crossville on 70E in the Hillbilly Hollow community for a house fire.  The little girl, seven-year-old Terra Wadsworth, was at home with her father.  The girl’s father, Tommy Wadsworth, escaped the fire as reports indicate he may have been working outside the house.   Sheriff Casey Cox told Crossville News First two deputies were sent to the hospital for smoke inhalation and a fireman was injured after a basement door collapsed.  Sheriff Cox told CNF the mother, Michelle Wadsworth,  was not at home at the time of the blaze but arrived shortly after authorities arrived on the scene.  The home was a total loss.  A Gofundme account has been established to help offset expenses for the family.  CLICK HERE FOR THE GOFUNDME PAGE
