A PARENT WITH HELPERS VOLUNTEER TO SCRUB DOWN (Disinfect) CCHS CLASS ROOMS

One parent with a student at CCHS has taken it upon herself to help make her sons class room and others are scrubbed down this Saturday..by volunteering to help the custodians clean the rooms. Samantha Reed posted on her Facebook Page that she was going to pitch in and help in trying to stop the spread of the flu by ‘cleaning’ the rooms today. Some readers even offered to join the effort.   She contacted the school to get permission and was allowed to come to the school this morning with her helpers.  Here is Sam Antha’s  (Samantha Reed) Facebook post.

So I know everyone is upset about schools being open. (I am too). I am going to call central office this morning and see if there’s any way I can volunteer this weekend to go in and help clean my sons school. Specifically start with his wing of the school. I’ll be happy to bring my own cleaning supplies and hospital grade, germ killing, spray. Maybe we could all do this? Instead of just complaining, put on a mask and gloves and start scrubbing stuff down. (Just an idea)

We chatted with Samantha this morning and she told us thus far, she and her helpers along with the custodian,  had cleaned five wings of the school – every class room. She told us that the custodians, members of school board and Mr. Hall at the school expressed their appreciation.  In another story we released today, many area schools are closed down for Monday and Tuesday for just the same purpose…disinfecting class rooms.  READ STORY HERE
