Yesterday afternoon CNF shared the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department post on a missing child.  It said 12-year-old Katlyn LeeAnn Dunn had left her home in Cookeville around 3pm threatening to commit suicide.  A major effort to locate Katlyn was underway for hours. Young Katlyn was found last night just before 7pm.  She was unresponsive when emergency personnel found her. All efforts to revive her were unsuccessful and tragically young Katlyn was pronounced dead.  Even though the youth had threatened suicide, the exact cause of death has not been released by authorities.  We share in the grief of our readers and Katlyn’s family and friends at this very sad news.
