MAN CHARGED WITH QUADRUPLE MURDER ON RENEGADE MT WANTS HIS TELEVISION BACK

Probably one of the strangest requests put forth by the lawyers for Jacob Allen Bennett, accused murderer of four on Renegade Mountain back in 2013, was that he wants his television back that he had in the Nashville prison.  Bennett appeared in Cumberland County Court recently with his lawyers submitting motions to Judge Patterson.  You’ll recall that 27 year old Bennett and 26 year old Brittany Lina Yvonne Moser were indicted in the September 2013 shooting deaths of Rikki Jacobsen, 22, Domonic Davis, 17, Steven Presley, 17 and John Lejeunesse, 16.  Bennett is facing four counts of premeditated murder, four counts of felony murder and two counts of attempted aggravated robbery. Moser faces four counts of felony murder and two counts of attempted aggravated robbery.  After all was said and done, Judge Patterson asked if there were any other matters that needed to be addressed at the hearing.  That’s when one of Bennett’s attorneys told the Judge that Bennett was concerned about getting his television back  he bought while in the Nashville prison.  Judge Patterson told the lawyer Bennett’s victims didn’t care if he had a TV followed by “I don’t either”  A full account of the hearing can be read here in the Crossville Chronicle
