A Cumberland County courtroom was packed this morning with people wearing lime green shirts with the slogan “Live Like Louie”.

The accused murderer of Louie Tammaro, Stephanie Cole, appeared in Criminal Court today. Judge David Patterson told Cole’s attorney Kevin Bryant that the court was not prepared for motions as yet, or to set a trial date. Judge Patterson also asked Bryant about a mental evaluation that Cole was undergoing by the state. Bryant said that the tests were complete but the report would be forthcoming. The judge set Sept. 18 as a readout date for Cole’s next appearance in court. Stephanie Ann Cole is charged with premeditated first-degree murder in the June 2014 shooting death of 31-year-old Louis Michael Tammaro II. Cole, a former Martin Elementary Special Education teacher, has pleaded not guilty.
