CROSSVILLE TO BE FEATURED ON “LIVE AT 5 AT 4” AT 3 TODAY
Crossville has been nominated as one of six East Tennessee towns competing for the title of “The Town with the most Heart”. It’s a promotion by WBIR-TV in Knoxville along with Food City. WBIR-TV will be in Crossville Monday May 11’th broadcasting live from the Cumberland County Playhouse during their “Live at 5 at 4 Program” which actually comes on at 3pm Crossville time. The TV station is asking anyone who wants, to show up at the Playhouse for a large group photo to be taken in the shape of a heart. As part of the event, fitness expert Missy Kane will be leading a hike starting at the Black Mountain trailhead in Crab Orchard from 10 to 2 and then meet up for the festivities at the Cumberland County Playhouse. The other towns vying for “Town with the most Heart” are: Greeneville, Maryville, Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and Oak Ridge.
