The Curtain Call Dinner Theatre will be presenting “From Motown to Nashville”  this Thursday, February 19th with the very special internationally acclaimed comedian/impressionist Johnny Counterfit representing Nashville and our own Terry (the Voice) Henderson representing Motown. Again, February 19th is a one night only kick-off for Counterfit and Henderson. This series “From Motown to Nashville” will run every Thursday, Friday and Saturday at Curtain Call  with Michael Ruff from the Cumberland County Playhouse joining the Curtain Call Players for the remainder of the dates. Ruff, Dennis Donald, Rich Petersen and Billy Gibson will share the stage nightly with Ashley Krohn, Terri Utsey and Regina Stevens alternating as their schedules allow for the remainder of the run.

Counterfit has been making a career out of impersonating famous country music singers, actors and politicians for 32 years now.  As a comedian, Johnny Counterfit makes the audience roar with laughter, as both a singer and celebrity-singing impressionist and he takes the audience back and forth between the time periods of their lives. We found this clip of Johnny doing some pretty impressive impressions of Cash, Elvis, Buck Owens and even Sinatra.

Throughout his career, Johnny has appeared on CBS, TBS, Disney Channel, TNN, cable and satellite television and radio shows. He appeared on the “Chicken Soup for the Country Soul” CD with such artists as Alan Jackson, Randy Travis and Dolly Parton.

Terry Henderson will be representing the Motown Sound during the dinner hour! Terry is also known as “The Voice” and if you’ve heard him, no more needs to be said. If you haven’t heard him, you will definitely fall in love with his smooth style.

Tickets are $35 plus tax for dinner and show or $20 plus tax for show only. Show only tickets at the door will be $25 plus tax for the February 19th show.  Doors open at 5:30 pm, dinner is served at 5:45 and the show starts between 6:30 and 6:45.
