BOMB SCARE AT K-MART TUESDAY – THIRD THREAT IN AREA OVER THREE MONTHS
For the third time in as many months a bomb threat has been called into a local business. This time it was the Crossville K-Mart. The call came just after 5pm Tuesday. Emergency crews blocked off West Avenue and the parking lot then did a scan of the building but found no bomb. Police have taken a person into custody in connection with the bomb scare but aren’t releasing any names yet. Last month a bomb threat was called into the Crossville Outlet mall and another back in November to CVS Pharmacy. No explosives were found in either case.
