A memorial service for veteran officer J C Hancock will be this Saturday from 2 to 5 at Oak lawn Farms on Highway 70 E.

Former longtime Crossville Police Officer J.C. Hancock  passed away due to complications from liver disease.

Former Administrative Lieutenant J.C. Hancock was a 33 year Police veteran serving with the City of Crossville Police Department, as well as a U.S. Army veteran. Hancock has been an active member of the Crossville Police Department serving as a Detective Sergeant, Patrol Staff Sergeant, DARE and School Resource Officer and driving school instructor. Mr. Hancock was 62-years-old.
