An alert was dispatched last night for an armed robbery suspect in Crossville.  A male entered the Marathon gas station on West Avenue and robbed them at gunpoint.  He then left the building on foot walking down Park Street.  Cumberland County Sheriff’s office issued an alert to citizens to be on the lookout for the suspect but do not approach him due to him being armed. Citizens were also asked to keep their doors locked.  An intense search commenced by both Crossville Police and Sheriffs deputies for the suspect. The description of the suspect was he was wearing a black hat and a tan CarHart jacket.  As of 10:30 am Saturday morning the suspect had not been located.  No word on how much money the robber made off with.
