A 98 Caddy being driven by John Brown of Crossville crashed through a church building this morning about 9:30. Brown, traveling west on Hwy 70 North lost control and took out three mailboxes in front of the Some Beach Bar, then hit a pylon in the parking lot of the Higher Ground Independent Church of God.  The Caddy continued on crashing into the corner of the church building before plowing into a fence and telephone pole next to Little Brad’s Market.  Brown was not injured in the wreck but was charged with DUI.
