MAN CHARGED IN MAIN STREET SHOOTING, VICTIM IN CRITICAL BUT STABLE CONDITION

FROM NICK BERES-NEWSCHANNEL 5 NASHVILLE
SHOOTING NEAR THE CROSSVILLE SQUARE.
Several of you messaged me asking about a shooting that happened early yesterday evening.
It happened right there across from the courthouse in Crossville, TN.
A man was shot after an argument escalated into violence.
This was around 5:45 p-m at North Main St. and Fourth St. during a very busy part of day.
There were many witnesses and took cellphone videos of the actual incident.
I’ve seen some of the videos and they are disturbing.
(Seeking permission from person who took the video to share.
Also, graphic.)

This morning, I’ve been in touch with District Attorney Bryant Dunaway.

He confirms several videos are now in evidence.
General Dunaway also tells me that 42-year-old Eric Garrison is charged with attempted second degree murder.
The D-A tells me this morning the shooting victim is in critical, but stable condition.
Of course, if he dies the charge will be upgraded to Second Degree murder.
The victims name has not yet been released.

MORE DETAILS TO COME.
