Tonight a special Town Hall and Candidates Forum will be held at the Cumberland County Playhouse in the Adventure Theater beginning at 5:30 p.m. and wrapping up at 7:30 p.m. The first 15 minutes will be provided to county commission members of the 1st and 2nd Districts (which constitutes those districts of the incorporated area of the city of Crossville) and the Cumberland County school board members of the 1st and 2nd Districts.

All candidates running in this year’s City elections have been invited to participate in the “Council Candidate Forum” segment of the program.. The Crossville-Cumberland County Chamber’s Board of Directors are preparing a set of questions to launch the Q/A of city council candidates; but, questions will also be taken from the public as submitted on 3×5 cards. The public is invited to bring their questions with them-printed clearly on the cards or card will be made available at the event. The Forum will be video taped and telecast on Crossville News First beginning Wednesday October 8th.
