POWER OUTAGES LIKELY FRIDAY DURING HIGH WINDS, HERE’S THE LOWDOWN

With forecasters calling for very high winds Friday, get prepared for power outages. A wind advisory is in effect for most of Friday for the the entire state. The storms moving in are ripe for producing very high straight-line winds and maybe spin up a tornado or two.  Several school districts are closed tomorrow due the threat of severe weather.

Always have a safe place to move to in the event a tornado warning is issued and be prepared for power outages.  Fortunately, the temperatures will hang in the upper 50s to lower 60’s most of the day then dip into the 30s overnight Friday night.  Stay weather aware Friday.
