TRAVELERS OUTRAGED OVER DOG TIED TO TRAILER IN KNOX
The Knox County Sheriff’s Office confirmed Sunday afternoon it is investigating a photo of a dog tied to a trailer stopped at a red light in Farragut.
Dozens of viewers have contacted channel 10 television many out of state, about the photo via Facebook, Twitter, email, and phone. The photo has been shared hundreds of times online.
The picture shows a small, white dog bound at the legs and unable to move from a trailer hooked to a car. Another photo shows a man, who 10News has chosen not to identify because he has not been charged with a crime, out of the car with the dog freed.
A traveler who posted the picture said he snapped it at the corner of Campbell Station Road and Grigsby Chapel Road in Farragut. The same viewer said the second photo was taken near the Smith Road and Kingston Pike intersection.
KSCO did not give any further details into the investigation. (WBIR)
