CROSSVILLE MAN CUT WHILE ATTACKING ROOMMATE

On October 13, 2022 at approximately 5:45 p.m. city units were dispatched to Sparta Drive for a possible domestic. Upon arrival officers observed two males. One of the males was in an emotional state and had an odor of alcohol coming from his person and the other, Mr. Nicholas Kiecksee, appeared to act normal but also had an odor of alcohol about him. Mr. Kiecksee also had a two inch cut on the top of his left forearm from what appeared to be a knife.

An officer had read the first man his Miranda Rights who acknowledged  that he understood his rights and went on to say that Mr. Kiecksee had been living in his house for approximately two months. The man further stated that Mr. Keicksee had been aggressive toward him by pushing and hitting him and that he had told Mr. Kiecksee to stop, but was ignored. He then stated that he was struck in the face by Mr. Kiecksee and then was repeatedly struck.  Then while trying to do dishes Mr. Kiecksee still continued to be aggressive, so he picked up a knife for self defense fearing for his safety. Mr. Kiecksee was cut during the altercation due to him still actively trying to strike the victim. The victim then stated that Mr. Keicksee has done this type of thing multiple times in the past. Both parties stated that Mr. Keicksee was the primary aggressor in this incident. The victim was asked to give information for the domestic paper work and to fill out a witness statement but would not comply.

Mr. Keicksee was then placed in custody at approximately 6:21 p.m. and transported to intake for booking, where he was charged with Domestic Assault and served with bond conditions. Mr. Keicksee acknowledged and signed the bond condition paper work. The knife used in the incident was seized and placed into evidence at the Crossville Police Department.
