A grieving Ohio father posted a request on Reddit over the weekend, asking for someone to Photoshop a picture of his daughter without the  tubes that she had been on during her brief life.

“My daughter passed away after a long battle in the children’s hospital. Since she was in the hospital her whole life, we never were able to get a photo without all her tubes. Can someone remove the tubes from this photo?” Nathan Steffel wrote.

Steffel wanted to remember his daughter, Sophia, who died at 6 weeks old on July 10 from a liver tumor.

What happened next was an outpouring from people on the social networking site with portraits of his daughter without tubes.

Steffel responded on Reddit, “This is really amazing. Everyone you have made my day. All I wanted was a nice picture. What I received as a long of love and support from a bunch of strangers.”
