Timothy Kelly was arrested for the 193rd time since 1995 last week in Cookeville.

Police said 73 of those arrests were for public intoxication, including the most recent one.

This time, police said he passed out apparently drunk in a front yard on Chestnut Street.

He was taken to the hospital for medical attention. Once there, police said he started yelling and swearing at the nurses, so they charged him with public intoxication.

Kelly has averaged about 10 arrests per year for the last 19 years.

Last year he managed to get arrested three times in a 24-hour period. He was sentenced to 100 days in jail then.
