According to reports, 52 year old William Edward Dodson was attempting to get some personal belongings out of the back of a pick-up truck Sunday when, suddenly the truck took off with him in the bed of the truck.  Dodson was trying to get his balance as the truck sped down the road when he heard several gun shots.  He had been shot twice in his arm and upper leg.  Dodson said he was thrown out of the truck as it sped away.  There were two more wounds discovered on Dodson’s upper arm.  The whole incident took place on Bowman Loop in northern Cumberland County.  A suspect is being sought and charges are pending as the investigation is continuing.  Dodson was taken to CMC but his condition has not been released.
