CROSSVILLE POLICE REPORT:

On 12-01-21 city units were dispatched to the area of Oak Grove St for an individual stumbling and falling in the street. Upon arrival, I came upon an individual who stated, “I’m drunk, take me to jail.” I then placed him into custody. He was later identified as Michael Sean Coddington. While talking to Mr. Coddington, he had a strong odor of some intoxicating beverage about his person and was unsteady on his feet. He also had watery eyes. He was transported by to the jail without incident. Mr. Coddington has committed the offense of public intoxication by appearing in a public place under the influence of a controlled substance and/or any other intoxicating substance to the degree that the subject was endangered himself and/or others.
