HACKERS REDIRECT CROSSVILLE WOMAN’S UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFITS TO ANTIOCH TN

And the hits just keep on coming.  More and more computer hacking and scamming is being reported every day.  This is a new one though.  Hackers redirecting people’s unemployment benefits.  It happened to a lady in Crossville.

A Crossville woman reported to police she received a notification that her Tennessee Unemployment benefit information had been changed.  She had not changed the information herself.  Apparently, hackers had gotten into her account and changed her email address and physical address to Antioch Tennessee.  The woman said she had contacted the local unemployment office and was able to stop her benefits card from being sent to the new address. The investigation is ongoing.
